How are you living today? My name is Demetrius, and welcome to my slice of the cyberspace. I’m a creative who first loved dance, then cheated on it with saxophone, and then found myself getting involved with writing songs on the downtime. To make the relationship even more complicated, I found a knack for incorporating creativity within cooking so Momma and I are currently in a text exchange of vegetarian recipes.

I like to twist, bend, split, and all the other ‘Bop It’ functions to words because I’m enamored by the impact of words on a community. For example, I sing ‘Sweet Caroline!’by Neil Diamond in my hometown in Michigan, and received an “Oh Oh Ohh!”. Change the scenery to my North Philly residence and my neighbors ask, “D, who is Caroline?”. Long story long, I continue to embrace poetic devices like a best friend, and to this day I still geek out on Earl Sweatshirt’s assonance on “SuperRichKids”. I’m Demetrius, I write copy and have a deep appreciation for the multiple facets of creativity.
